Hi Everyone,
My name is Frank Ciminiello. I am a homeschooling high school junior. I have attended Mahwah Junior Police Academy and Mahwah Police Youth Leadership Academy every summer since fifth grade. I have been active in Cub and Boy Scouts since 2005. I am currently a Star Scout on my way to Eagle. I attended BSA National Youth Leadership Training this summer at Camp Turrel. I am in the 4-H Engineering Club. I have been active in Bergen County 4-H since 2008. It was while volunteering at a 4-H event that met Sgt. Lapp. I have also recently renewed my Civil Air Patrol membership. I am hoping to gain a lot of leadership skills and to receive a fair amount of knowledge in police work. It is my goal to serve in the military after college and then to become a police officer. The training and experience that I will receive as part of the Bergen County Sheriff's Youth Leadership Academy is sure to help me with my goals. I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi everyone my name is Skylar MacKenzie. I am a freshman at Becton Regional High school. I do competition cheering, track, and I snowboard. Some of my hobbies are hiking and camping. My brother did the summer police academy program and after telling me all about it i took interest in doing something like it. In the future I hope to have influenced many people in a positive way. I cant do that without being a leader, and this program will help me do. I am also looking forward to the physical training. I feel it will help me with my sports and may be kind of fun. See you all Friday!!

Hi everyone, my name is Bobby Stewart and I live in Saddle Brook. I am a sophomore at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell and I enjoy playing golf and baseball. I am participating in the Leadership Academy because my sister enjoyed herself at the Youth Police Academy over the summer and had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. I am excited to learn law enforcement and hopefully have the same amazing experience my sister had. I am looking forward to meeting all of you on the 25th.
