This Friday, September 30, ALL Cadets are required to attend the Graduation/Swearing-In/Promotional Ceremony for the Academy. Remember, regardless of what class you are from, we are all still One Academy, One Unit, and One Family, so EVERYONE must attend.

Cadets are to report to the Mahwah Law and Public Safety Institute at 1830 hours. The actual ceremony will commence at 1930 hours, so if you have family and friend attending, please let them know that is the time the actual ceremony will start.

Cadets are to be dressed in their uniform. For the benfit of the new cadets, the uniform is as followed:
Blue BDU pants, black belt, black boots, black 8-point military cover (hat), and Leadership Academy T-Shirt.
Make sure you are tucked in, neat, and squared away for the ceremony. For the females, make sure your hair is up, above the collar in a neat, military-like fashion.

You are all encouraged to invite family and friends, so invite as many people as you would like.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I look foward to seeing everyone on Friday.

Thank You

Thank you to all of the cadets, officers and everyone else who participated in today’s Adopt-A-Soldier collection drive. It was a huge success and we collected a lot of supplies and goods for the men and women of the New Jersey National Guard’s 2-113th Infantry – SECFOR Platoon & the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division.

I can’t express enough on how happy I am to see how everyone came together as a community to create these care packages for the troops. It is so important that no matter how many years have gone by, our nation’s brave men and women continue to put themselves in harm’s way and sacrafice themselves to protect and defend our rights and freedom.

Once again, thank you. You should all be very proud of what you did today. You really have made a difference. Hoorah!

ATTENTION ALL CADETS:

For Sunday, we are asking for cadets to try to bring in large boxes (they DON’T have to be plain shipping boxes) that we can use to sort the items donated.

Also, if any cadets had boxes set up at libraries, local businesses, etc. (you know who you are) and need the items picked up for Sunday, please send me a message ASAP.

Thanks and hope to see everyone Sunday!
