Jake Horowitz - Eagle Scout
Let’s all give a BIG round of applause for our own, Lt. Jake Horowitz, in his recent promotion to Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest award given to a Boy Scout and only less than 4% of all Scouts, achieve this high honor. Congratulations Jake. We are all VERY proud of you!

Hackensack Columbus Day Parade
ATTENTION ALL CADETS:
This Sunday, October 2, 2011, the Bergen County Youth Leadership Academy will be marching in Hackensack’s Annual Columbus Day Parade. We need as many cadets as possible to attend this event.
Cadets are to arrive at the Sears Parking Lot in Hackensack at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The parade will step off at 12:00 p.m and end at the Court House.
As a reminder for the incoming cadets, you will be in full uniform for this event.
I apoligize for the last minute notice, but I just found out about this myself. Please, in earnest, try to make it Sunday to represent the Leadership Academy.
For more information on the event, you can go to the parade’s website http://www.columbusdayparadeofnorthjersey.org/index.html
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message or give me a call.
